1. Licence grant
Subject to payment and these terms, Public Malfunction grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable licence to use the purchased recording and composition in personal and commercial projects. Permitted projects include videos, films, podcasts, games, streams, live productions, presentations, advertising and similar work in which the music is incorporated into a larger project.
The licence is for permanent project use rather than a subscription. It does not transfer copyright or ownership of the recording, composition, artwork or Public Malfunction brand.
2. Attribution
Attribution is required. Where the project has credits, a description, documentation or another reasonable attribution location, include:

Attribution must be reasonably visible or accessible to the project audience and must not imply that Public Malfunction endorses you, your organisation or the project.
3. Prohibited uses
You must not:
- sell, share, sublicense, upload or redistribute the audio as a standalone file, music library item, sample pack, stock asset or substantially equivalent substitute;
- make the audio available in a way that lets others extract or download it separately from your project;
- claim ownership or authorship of the recording or composition;
- register the audio with YouTube Content ID, Meta Rights Manager or any equivalent ownership, fingerprinting or automated claims system;
- make claims against Public Malfunction, its channels, or other properly licensed users based on ownership of the material;
- use Public Malfunction names, marks or artwork except for required attribution or accurate identification of the music.
4. Teams and clients
You may provide the music to collaborators or service providers solely as necessary to create your licensed project, provided they do not keep or reuse it independently. A completed project may be delivered to your client, but neither the raw audio nor this licence may be transferred for unrelated use. A client wanting to use the music in another project should obtain its own licence.
5. Breach and statutory rights
The licence may be terminated if its material restrictions are breached and the breach is not remedied after notice where remedy is possible. Uses already lawfully made remain subject to applicable law. Nothing in this licence excludes statutory consumer rights concerning faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming digital content.
